The Name “Experience Life”
Est 2018
Our name comes from the church where our founders met and from the belief that life is best lived when the nervous system is clear, connected, and resilient. We dreamed of a place where complex pediatric cases and busy families would come to find hope, help and answers and begin to truly Experience Life.
That vision became Experience Life Chiropractic—right here in the greater Houston area.
Meet Dr Daryn McCarter
Doctor of Chiropractic
I grew up always knowing that I wanted to work with kids and I wanted to be in healthcare in some way and God paved the perfect path for me. Growing up all I knew about chiropractic was that my dad went and only went when he “threw his back out” so it wasn’t ever on my radar for what I wanted to do with my life. Through undergrad I eventually ended up in nursing school and went on to work in the ICU for 2.5 years. It was in that time that I met Morgan who started going to a chiropractor that told her not only could they help her with her lower back and hip pain, but that chiropractic could also help her with her cycle, digestive issues and even her vasovagal syncope. Y’all…I was skeptical to say the least, but turns out they were exactly right. In just a few short months of being under consistent chiropractic care so many of Morgan’s struggles started to get better and the only thing she changed was she started getting adjusted on a consistent basis. I was mindblown! I started asking the docs she was seeing questions, shadowed them and before I knew it I was applying to chiropractic school.
It was truly in my time at chiropractic school that I learned what true, neurologically focused chiropractic was and found my passion for serving kids and families through chiropractic care. It wasn’t until we had our second son, Slade, just a couple of months before we opened ELC that I fell in love with serving kiddos with varying special needs. Being a parent of a kiddo that has multiple doctor and therapy appointments each week or month, I firsthand know what so many of the parents we see in our office are going through. It’s time consuming, stressful, sleep depriving but also and more importantly it’s wonderful, joyful and changes the way you see the world around you. This is why I love taking care of full families because I know just how much of an impact chiropractic has had not only on myself and my wife, but on both of our boys and I don’t want to even think about where we would be without it being a cornerstone in our life.

Kayden brings a joyful mix of creativity, faith, and heart to Experience Life Chiropractic. She first stepped into the office as part of the team and, just two weeks later, started receiving care herself. From that moment on, her eyes were opened to something far greater than she expected.
Kayden has had the privilege of watching families transform right in front of her—kids finding calm and confidence, parents getting their lives back, and entire households thriving in ways they never thought possible. Seeing these miracles day after day is what fuels her belief in the power of chiropractic and the mission of ELC.
As she and her husband continue care, Kayden celebrates every step forward, knowing she’s living out her purpose by helping others experience that same hope and healing. When she’s not welcoming and supporting families in the office, she’s likely working on a new art piece or baking something delicious in her kitchen.

Katherine Smith lives just a short walk away from Experience Life Chiropractic. As a mom of two, she first came to ELC seeking relief from back pain brought on by the demands of motherhood. She had seen other chiropractors in the past but never experienced lasting results—until she found ELC.
Since starting care, not only has Katherine experienced powerful changes in her own health, but her entire family now gets adjusted and is thriving because of it. Her experience made such a lasting impact that she left her job of 9 years to join the ELC team and help other families discover the same life-changing care. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her cheering on her kids at their sports events or shopping at Painted Tree Boutiques.
